Successful business man. Loving grandfather of several grandchildren including 2 grandchildren with Autism. Allan has many connections all over the US. His degree in pharmacy and is a licensed insurance agent. Chairman of the Board for 5 hospitals in Philadelphia. He owned several physical, speech, and occupational therapy rehabilitation centers. Happily married for 57 years.

Susan Peters

Executive Director

Susan is an experienced Florida educator with a Bachelors degree in Primary Education and a Masters degree in Special Education.  She is certified Autism and Related Disabilities, Primary and Elementary Education, Reading, and English for Speakers of Other Languages.


She has raised three children, two of whom are on the Autism spectrum. Susan has a dream of empowering young adults with special needs to be independent, successful, and to lead fulfilling lives.

Grandmother of Evan the Great. Exceptional Educator. Too many talents to list but include: 5K running, crafting, traveling, and many more.

Collector of those who need her help. Retired from too many jobs to list, but are a collection of teaching, support, and social work. Loves to craft and garden. Eileen Howard went from the east to the west but has made her home here in the south for the last 25 years. Born and raised Bostonian she served the Boston Juvenile court system as a parole supervisor before moving to California in 1987 to join her husband Eddie and share his 20 year naval commitment in Alameda, California. During those years she provided social services to the Navy and in the  Emeryville schools as the Program Coordinator for Xanthos.  Highschoolers from all walks of life gained much from the anti drug education programs and activities of her presentations through Zanthos and the Friday Night Live program. When duty called, the family transferred to Mayport  in 1994.  Eileen went to work as a Program Director for Community Connections Program serving children and families first at the Link, a before and after school day care and summer camp.  In the last 8 yrs until her retirement in 2010 a vast array of social services were provided to 200 families at the Sable Palms Housing Apartments through Community Connections under the program Directorship of Mrs Howard.

Stephanie Haynes has lived in Jacksonville Beach with her husband Walter since 2000.  She has an adult son Chris and a daughter Samantha and has 4 grandchildren between them. Stephanie has been a licensed Physical Therapist for over 20 years. Her specialty was in home pediatric therapy and she worked for the non profit Florida Elks Children's Therapy Services for 18 years before retiring. She has extensive experience with Neurological disorders, the special needs population and Cancer. She is an educator and her passion is teaching others about more homeopathic and natural options for health and  wellness. She is the owner of Living Hope Wellness Remedies & Services and is very active in the local community. Her hobbies are kayaking, fishing, camping, gardening and swimming. She loves the Lord with all of her heart and loves to share her faith. She is excited about combining her professional and personal interests with PossAbilities Plus!!

Super energizer and hands on supporter. Financial advisor and mother of the fabulous Lindsey. Gwen founded Gloeckner Financial Group is 1992 in Columbus Ohio. In 2008 Gloeckner Green McCabe Financial was formed as Gwen prepared for retirement. As an advisor for the firm, she assists families and individuals with wealth accumulation, management and income distribution and protection plans. Gwen is securities licensed in 6 states, is Certified in Long Term Care planning and Certified as a Divorce Financial Analyst, working with couples to achieve an amicable division of assets in the divorce process. Gwen as been active in the local and national Financial Planning Association, has hold board positions with Mount Carmel Health Hospital’s Foundation and the Mount Carmel College of Nursing. Gwen recently relocated to Jacksonville Fla with her family, Larry and Lindsey.   They enjoy boating and exploring their new environment.

Business owner of a preschool and antique store. Certified stager and great dishwasher!! Grew up in Jacksonville! Married 40 years with 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren. Over 35 years of loving early childhood; teaching and directing. Currently, owner of Melrose Preschool - a non traditional school embracing the Reggio Emilia approach to education. 

Lifelong learner and lover of most things vintage, dogs, the ocean.

Realtor and previous owner of Emmy’s Tea room. Champion for those with special needs. Dawn Niermann has called Jacksonville home for over 30 years.  Her husband is also a Jacksonville native and they have strong roots in the community.  Dawn has been a Realtor for over 10 years and currently owns her own brokerage and enjoys being part of the Jacksonville community.

Tessa was born and raised here in Jacksonville. She has a Bachelor of Arts from UNF and a Master’s in Education from UoG, both focus in Exceptional Student Education.  Tessa loves working with students in inclusive settings.
